Matthew Reed, M.S., L.Ac. graduated from the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine at New York Chiropractic College in 2016. While at NYCC, he earned membership in the Phi Chi Omega scholastic honor society. Throughout his career as a student and practitioner, Matthew dedicated himself to seeking out and studying the most advanced, evidence-based acupuncture treatment methods currently available. Matthew utilizes trigger point and motor point acupuncture and Taiwanese distal methods - styles of acupuncture that are incredibly effective for pain relief, increasing range of motion, and improving overall function. Matthew is also president and co-founder of Chinese Medicine that Works, Ltd., a continuing education company dedicated to training acupuncturists in the most clinically useful diagnosis and treatment techniques currently available to Chinese medicine practitioners. Through CMTW, Matthew teaches dry needling and myofascial pain treatments, as well as advanced needling technique and physical assessment.
Michael Peluso, L.Ac. Michael Peluso received his undergraduate degree in European history and pre-medical sciences at the University of Montana and his Chinese medical degree from the School of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine at NYCC. For years Michael's patient base has primarily been women, so it is natural that he has come to specialize in women's health. He has completed extensive post-graduate studies in diagnostics, under master diagnostician Robert Doane, internal medicine and Chinese medical gynecology under renowned Chinese medical gynecologist Bob Flaws. Michael cares very much for his patients' well-being and is known for his warm and kind bedside manner.
